MinimaxAI.video is an independent platform and is not owned or operated by MiniMax or any other model provider available on our platform.

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Service Description

MinimaxAI.video lets you generate videos and images from text prompts and reference images using a range of third-party AI models. The models available, their capabilities, generation times, and credit costs may change at any time. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including any individual model, at any time.

Account

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Do not create multiple accounts to abuse free credits, trials, or promotions
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country, to use the Service

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the Service
• Access the Service through automated tools, scrapers, or bots without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the Service
• Attempt to bypass content filters, usage limits, or credit charges

Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload, generate, or share any content that:

• Is illegal, fraudulent, or violates any applicable law
• Contains child sexual abuse material or sexualizes or exploits minors in any way
• Depicts non-consensual sexual acts or creates sexual or intimate deepfakes of real people
• Uses a real person's face, voice, or likeness without their permission
• Promotes violence, terrorism, hate, harassment, or self-harm
• Infringes on the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others, including logos, trademarks, and copyrighted music or footage you do not have rights to
• Impersonates others or is designed to spread misinformation or deceive viewers
• Contains malware, spam, or phishing content

Prompts and outputs may be checked by automated filters run by us or our model providers, and requests that violate these rules may be blocked. We reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions, without refund.

Your Content and Generated Outputs

Your Inputs: You retain ownership of the prompts, images, and other material you upload ("Inputs"). You represent that you have all rights necessary to use your Inputs with the Service.

Generated Outputs: Subject to these Terms and the plan you used, you may use the videos and images you generate ("Outputs"). Commercial use (such as ads, product pages, client work, and monetized channels) is permitted only for Outputs created under a plan or credit pack that includes commercial use, as listed on our Pricing page. Outputs created with free credits or plans without commercial use are for personal, non-commercial use only.

No Rights to Third-Party Material: No plan grants you rights to faces, logos, songs, or other third-party material contained in your Inputs or reproduced in your Outputs. You are solely responsible for how you use your Outputs.

License to Us: You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit your Inputs and Outputs as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including sending them to the model providers that process your requests.

AI Limitations: AI-generated content can be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to content generated for other users. We do not guarantee that Outputs will be unique, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, logos, and features, is owned by MinimaxAI.video or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you. Third-party model names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Credits

• Generating videos and images consumes credits. The exact cost is shown before you start a generation and depends on the model, duration, resolution, and other settings
• If a generation fails on our side for an account with a paid plan or a purchased credit pack, the credits for that generation are returned to the balance. Free credits given to new accounts are not returned
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and are not refundable except as stated in these Terms
• Credits may expire. Any expiration date applies as shown in your account
• We may adjust the credit cost of models or features going forward. Changes do not affect generations already completed

Payment & Subscription

Fees: Some features require payment through a monthly plan or a one-time credit pack. Prices are shown on our Pricing page, and we may change them at any time. Price changes do not affect a billing period you have already paid for.

Billing: Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. By submitting a payment, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge your selected payment method, including any applicable taxes.

Subscriptions: Monthly plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. Credit packs are one-time purchases and do not renew.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings. Your access remains active until the end of the current billing period. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next period.

Refunds: Refunds are available only as described in our Refund Policy, or where required by law. We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used billing periods, mid-cycle cancellations, or downgrades. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@minimaxai.video within 3 days of the charge.

Chargebacks: If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we may suspend your account while the dispute is reviewed.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party AI model providers, payment processors, hosting, and other services. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of these third parties, and model outages or changes may affect the Service.

Disclaimers

The Service and all Outputs are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any model will remain available.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MinimaxAI.video shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MinimaxAI.video from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Inputs, your use of Outputs, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Content Restrictions, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification, will survive.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective once posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
